AHEAD Joins as Presenting Sponsor of the 2025 VetFund Invitational

We’re excited to share some big news: AHEAD is stepping up as the Presenting Sponsor for the 2025 VetFund Golf Invitational!

AHEAD has been part of the VetFund community for more than a decade. Over the years, they’ve co-hosted receptions, supported our summits, and participated in nearly every Invitational, all while helping shape our mission through their seat on the VetFund Board.

Michelle Oushakoff, Senior Account Manager at AHEAD and Secretary of the VetFund Board, has been a champion for veterans since the beginning, bringing deep personal commitment to the cause.

Speaking to the heart of the partnership, Michelle shares:

“What makes VetFund so unique is how it brings everyone to the table: veterans, state leaders, and private sector partners, all working toward the same goal. It’s a space where real connection and change happen.”— Michelle Oushakoff, AHEAD

This year, AHEAD is taking that dedication even further — helping us bring new energy, ideas, and impact to one of our most meaningful events.

Who is AHEAD?

AHEAD is a national leader in IT consulting, known for helping organizations modernize through cloud infrastructure, AI, cybersecurity, and automation. Their clients range from tech giants to public sector agencies, and their work helps drive innovation across every industry, including defense and government.

But what truly makes AHEAD stand out is not just their expertise. It’s their people.

Veterans at the Core

Among the many dedicated professionals at AHEAD are U.S. military veterans who bring passion, purpose, and a mission-driven mindset to everything they do. Among them is Keith Odom, a former Cryptologic Technician in the U.S. Navy. Over the course of a decade, Keith collected and analyzed critical intelligence around the globe, from tracking Russian ships in Iceland to supporting the 6th Fleet in Italy and working with the NSA in Maryland. His experience laid a strong foundation for a successful career in tech, and today, he brings that same commitment to his work at AHEAD.

On the Sacramento team, veterans like Michael Stolp and Jon Holcomb, both Navy veterans, and Aaron Jagger, an Army veteran, represent the growing number of former service members contributing their skills across AHEAD’s offices. Their continued dedication, along with the increasing presence of veterans throughout the company, makes AHEAD’s support of VetFund especially meaningful and personal.

AHEAD + VetFund: More Than a Sponsorship

This collaboration is built on shared values like service, innovation, and creating opportunities for veterans and their families. AHEAD’s long-standing support has helped VetFund grow, connect with new partners, and expand our impact.

We’re proud to call them not just a sponsor, but a true partner in this work. And we’re especially proud to have them leading the way as our 2025 Presenting Sponsor.
