John Wade is a Cloud Management Specialist, APO Sales and Veterans ERG Co-Lead with VMware. His experience includes supporting partner community with sales strategy and enablement in VMware's US West territory. Mr. Wade has more than 25 years of  experience with pre-sales technical, data center, infrastructure and storage engineering.

Mr. Wade was in the US Army, Senior NCO with combat experience. He was decorated for valor and meritorious service (23 years combined service).

His prior achievements include:

• Grew Brocade business over 100%, HDS business over 500% and Netapp business over 200% in first year at Blue Chip Tek.

• Developed variable compensation and incentive program for entire engineering force at InterVision. Resulted in direct growth of company sales and overall morale of engineers.

• Directly involved in starting company practice to Los Angeles metro area at InterVision.

• Performed for several years as Theme Leader of Interoperability Lab at Storage Networking World Trade Shows for the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) at US locations.

• Involved in architecting and implementing Technology Center for the SNIA in Colorado Springs, CO.

• Former Vice Chair of the Commercial Optical Storage Applications (COSA) subcommittee within the Optical Storage Technology Association (OSTA) focused on bringing holographic storage technologies to market.

• Designed and implemented multi-tier, multi-site backup and recovery systems for worldwide development labs while at Fujitsu, Ltd.

• Listed on the SNIA's World Wide High Achievers list
